We will be celebrating our annual RSE Day on 29 June 2023! It is a day to celebrate Relationships, Sex and Health Education that promotes the wellbeing of, and safeguards, children and young people.
The theme this year is ‘Let’s Launch into Kindness’. Children will be talking about what kindness is and why it is so important in all relationships. They will also work collaboratively to create a kindness quilt in class. Classes will not be teaching their RSE lessons on this day, it is a day for celebrating kindness and creatively.
Parents and carers have an important role to play in teaching children and young people about healthy relationships. RSE Day highlights that RSE is the responsibility of all and is an opportunity for families and schools to work in partnership.
