Seely Primary and Nursery School

Three years ago, we engaged local mosaic artist Sophie Robins to work with the children to produce four huge mosaics depicting the seasons. The children had already produced designs but a few weeks ago Sophie came in to run two full days of workshops.

Every child in KS2 had the opportunity to do a bit of tiling onto the background mesh. They were then grouted and fitted with long lasting steel frames.

We think they have turned out really well and we're sure you will agree. We hope that your children and your children’s children will enjoy them for many years to come.

A competition win of £1000 from Arup started off our fund raising.
