THE BIG ASK - Children's Survey

28 April 2021 (by admin)

The Children's Commissioner for England is asking for all children, young people and adults (parents and those working with children) to take part in the largest ever survey for children in England.

This survey is taking part April 19th to May 19th 2021. This survey, supported by Marcus Rashford, will ask children to set out their priorities for improving childhood after the pandemic. Below is some information from the Children's Commissioner, followed by the link to the survey and also a You Tube which is a useful starting point to show children.

Within school KS2 children will be taking part in the survey during their class time. We would encourage Foundation, KS1 and Nursery children to do the survey at home. There is also an adult survey which you can take part in as parents. Have your say and encourage your children to do the same.

Please see more info and links below - Thank you

Hi, my name is Rachel de Souza and I’m the Children’s Commissioner for England. My job is to speak up for children in England, stand up for their rights, and make sure that the people in power listen to what children need and want.

It’s time to give something big back to young people like you after COVID — and we need your help to do it.

This is the largest ever survey of children and young people in England. We’ll use what you tell us to show the government what you think, and what children need to live happier lives.

This survey will only take you 5-10 minutes.
