Next Thursday 4th March is World Book Day! Although we won't all be together in person this year we'd still like to continue our celebrations.
FANCY DRESS:
If you are at currently at home each day, we would like you to dress up to attend your virtual session on this date in a book inspired outfit! If you are attending school, you can wear your outfit to school. We understand this is more difficult than normal at the moment so we hope this website will help you create an outfit with resources you already have at home: https://bookaid.org/support-us/world-book-day/world-book-day-dress-up/. Be as creative as you would like - we can't wait to see what you come up with.
COMPETITION:
We'd like you to take the most creative photograph you can reading your favourite book. It could be reading to your pet, reading in a silly costume, it could even be you reading upside down in a tree! You can email your photograph to your class email address by Tuesday 2nd March to enter the competition. Your class teacher will announce a winner from your class during your virtual session on 4th March and a special prize will be waiting in school for the winner!
Remember to look out for any special World Book Day activities in your home learning too!
