Nursery Admissions
Our Early Years Foundation Stage provision includes a Nursery classroom (F1) and our Reception Unit (F2), which is made up of three classrooms called Willow, Hazel, and Birch.
Children are eligible to start at our nursery the term after their third birthday and are offered either a morning or afternoon place. We also offer some 30 hours places which are offered initially to children whose fourth birthday falls within that academic year. The table below outlines when a child can start their maintained nursery place based on their date of birth.

We give first priority to children living within our catchment area who have a sibling at Seely Primary and Nursery School. Next, we consider children within the catchment area without siblings, followed by out-of-catchment children who have a sibling at the school. Any remaining places are then allocated to children living outside the catchment area who do not have a sibling attending.
We welcome new families with our 'Seely Seeds' sessions the term before they start. Led by the nursery teacher and our parent liaison worker, these two visits give you and your child a wonderful chance to visit the nursery and explore everyday nursery activities before starting their settling in sessions the following term.
We are delighted that you and your child will be joining us.
